Who should attend?

This one-day course is suitable for people aged 16 plus who might need to provide first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. It is ideal for organisations whose first aid needs assessment has identified a requirement for someone to hold a current emergency first aid at work qualification. Summative practical assessment is ongoing by the instructor along with written assessment and will lead to a FAA level 3 award in Emergency First Aid at Work meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations and is Ofqual accredited. Topics covered in this course: Casualty Unresponsive And Not Breathing, Including How To Use Of An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Casualty Unresponsive And Breathing Seizures Choking Bleeding Heavily Shock Burns The course also includes information on: Assessing A Casualty Monitoring A Casualty Where To Get Help Electrical Incidents Accident Recording And Reporting The Control Of Substances Hazardous To Health (COSHH). This course can be delivered at our training centre or at your workplace if more convenient.
